What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is a form of bullying with the use of digital-communication tools such as the Internet and cell phones to make someone feel sad, angry or scared which is typically by sending messages and comments of an intimidating or threatening nature.
What does cyberbullying look like?
There are so many ways a cyberbullying could happen, such as:
·         Sending abusive texts and emails.
·         Posting hurtful messages, images or videos.
·         Imitating others online.
·         Excluding others online.
·         Humiliating others online.
·         Having nasty online gossip and chat.
How to stop cyberbullying?
If you are being cyberbullied, you must stop this before it affects your life socially, psychologically or even physically. Some of the initiatives are:
·         Talk to someone you can trust straight away like a parent, sibling or friend.
·         Do not retaliate or respond as they might use it against you.
·         Report the abuse to the service and get others to as well.
·         Collect the evidences by keeping mobile phone messages or taking screenshots.
·         Do something you enjoy such as spend time with friends or family.
·         Keep a diary to write down your innermost thoughts and feelings instead of putting it online.
Does it affect people so badly?
Cyberbullying can attack you regardless of your ages, genders and occupations. Victim of cyberbullying feels extremely stressed and  alone when being bullied online.With mobile phones being so accessible nowadays, this issue is out of control and it will affects your daily life which can lead to constant distress and worry. If it is getting worse, cyberbullying may results in tragic events such as  suicide and self-harm.

In the conclusion, knowing that cyberbullying could really affect your life in negative way, it is important for each of us to become a smart netizen.
